Oh deer~

Hi Everyone!

Just got back home tonight. We had a nice long weekend with our friends and together we visited Harewood House in Leeds and Crich Tramway Village & Museum in Derbyshire. The weather was great! Even though the temperature was on the cooler side, around 11 to 13 degrees, we had bright warm sunshine which was very comfortable and pleasant. We all had a great time and enjoyed the company of our friends!

I thought that before I go and have a rest, I would share this card, made last Saturday, with you. I used my new stamp set: Into the Woods from Lawn Fawn for this belated birthday card. Gosh! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get hold of this stamp set in the UK. I have been waiting for this set since before last Christmas!! Now I finally got it, I just couldn't wait to have a go.

Apart from the sun and cloud images, which are from Lawn Fawn- Hello Sunshine set, the rest of the images are from Into the Woods stamp sets. Here are some more photos from the side and close-up.

I just love these cute images! The sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch! #72 is a great way for me to test out all these stamps.

Also since there is a brand new challenge at Make the Day Special Stamp Store, where I bought these Lawn Fawn stamps, I will also be entering this card in their first challenge: Anything Goes!

I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by. Better get ready for bed now as my holiday is over and it will be a working day for me tomorrow. Boo..... : (

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!

I am back! Not been a good blogger for a month so hope this will be an improvement on that! ^_^

You wouldn't believe this, I had the whole day today to make cards! Wow! That certainly doesn't happen often. I really enjoyed my day today!

I'd like to share one of the cards I made today. Also I want to catch the last train for Seize the Sketch #17 before the challenge ends. So here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

Actually this image, designed by Adam Pescott for Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine, was something I had already coloured in ages ago. I thought it was about time to put this cute bear together on a card. Here is a picture from the side:

As my daughter will be going to a birthday party soon, I believe this image will make a sweet birthday card to give to her friend who will be turning 8.

School Easter Holiday break starts this Monday for two weeks. We will be taking our girls to visit friends in Yorkshire. A few day trips and a visit to the cinema are also planned. Hope the weather will be good during the break so that we can all enjoy it!

Thank you for dropping by. That's it from me now! Have a nice weekend.
